Employee Assistance Program

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides access to free and confidential service designed to help employees with personal or work-related problems through short-term counselling and more. Organizations must consider providing their employees free and confidential counselling and follow-up services to help them cope with personal and work-related problems. Our live webinar service would be of benefit to employees, as it would explore various topics that would help boost performance and productivity as it relates to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Mental Health in Workplace

Mental health problems affect many employees; a fact that is usually overlooked because these disorders are hidden at work. One in five people at the workplace experience a mental health condition. Stigma and lack of awareness of mental health at the workplace persist as barriers to equality. Managers may want to help but aren't sure how to do so. Though work is suitable for mental health, a negative working environment may lead to physical and mental health problems, harmful use of substances or alcohol, absenteeism, turnover and lost productivity. Workplaces that promote mental health and support people with mental disorders are more likely to reduce absenteeism, increase productivity and benefit from associated economic gains.
